Playing for change was introduced to me by a globally minded music loving friend, and since the introduction I haven’t been able to stop listening and watching these fantastic videos. Shifting from city streets to savannas to mountaintops, the voices of the world’s talented musical artists mesh so well together. If colour, distance and language are things we use to separate ourselves from others, the music, smiles and happiness in these videos show how we are all the same, united.
The project was created by producer and sound engineer Mark Johnson, and is now also a foundation creating and supporting music schools around the world, especially in developing nations (Playing For Change Foundation). Whether you want to change the world or just want to hear the voices and sounds of artists around the globe, have a listen.
